I'm not sure how long it would last, but have you considered a boost controller and keeping your boost lower until you need it, then increasing it at that point in time? I mean, driving around with your boost at 12psi might not be the best idea on a stock bottom end engine. I know Ed will chime in and he is 10000x more knowledgeable than I am (I don't know ****).

Or, have you considered a 175 shot?

I would guess not a real long time if you drive it hard. 12 psi is a lot its even more on a stock bottom end.

It should be any more strain if you drive it normal. But if you push it constantly then yeah it won't last nearly as long. Cause you don't see boost until like 2500 rpm anyway right?

Erm, no you are not... This isn't a turbo; your Centrifugal blower only reaches maximum boost the second your engine hits the rev limiter if you make 10PSI at 6500rpm you would be lucky to see 5 by 4000...

He's right, but when your @4000 and boost is increasing itself as quickly as you can say "Ding" Plus your boosting when the BOV closes but even with it open it still is better than any N/A intake. As I have more rwtq at 2500 or even less than it did at any RPM stock!
So with the 390's I hit full boost quickly and with quick smooth shifts,
These Centri's are deadly fast! They push alot of air!
