Hello everyone. Well, I'm the newbie here when it comes to Corvette ownership, and could use some advice.
I'm getting a 2008 C6 coupe with 6K miles tomorrow. As far as I know it is all stock performance wise except for the Borla Touring Exhaust system. As with all my vehicles the first thing I get into is mods to the intake system to improve performance. I've seen articles with respect to cold air intake systems, TB spacers, and ported TBs, all of which sound like they provide some level of performance improvements.
I'm looking for advice on systems to consider that are installable by the end user who is auto handy. Prefer not to have to tune the car to support the mod. That will come later.
Some kind of true COLD air intake is a good first mod. There are several on the market. Vararam, Honker and so on. No tune needed. Go with a forum vender and enjoy the beggining of a long list of mods to come. Drop me a line and we can get together and discuss corvettes in general and mods in specific.
