Spped in gears
Can anyone supply the top speed in each gear for a stock 2008 (430hp) C6 Coupe with the six speed A/T w/paddle shifters? The gear ratios are 1) 4.020, 2) 2.360, 3) 1.530, 4) 1.150, 5) 0.850, 6) 3.060 with a stock 2.56 rear end. I found a couple of charts for the Z51 package and the Z06 but nothing for the LS3 6.2 liter 430HP engine with the A/T. Gear ratio/speed calculation charts tell the theoretical speed available for each gear at all RPMs up to & beyond the red-line but they don't tell what top RPM you can expect in each gear. In any case - my new "toy" is a whole lot of fun and it is American!
