The 305's I've seen posted look great IMO. They don't baloon out much at all and provide some wheel protection. I'll be able to say first hand when I get these mounted. I was surprised to see this much of a width difference.

Yea, I really wanted to show the difference between the stock Barbie tire and the Toyos. That thing is a torque monster and as you can see, really needs some new shoes. :P
That is an unmounted 305/30/19 Toyo next to the stock sized, slightly worn BFG KDW's.

What are you throwing down powerwise? I'd like to hear how they do on the street for you

See signature for power. I have high hopes for these. They have yielded good results for others on the forum with similar power levels. Makes first and second usable gears again.

just ordered my 305/30/19's!!
Now Powerlabs wont get constant questions from me! Other than, how should I heat cycle these?
Also, I'll have to figure out what to do in the winter, they are warning about the cold temps with the R-compound
Should have the fronts in a week or two

Try and get them as warm as you can, then park the car for 24 hours. I would try and get the car on a freeway and drive it at the highest speed you can legally drive it at, possibly with the tires a little bit low (say, 26PSI), take a few turns, then park it.
A proper heat cycle involves lapping them on the track but I think this is the next best thing...

Racer
For drag racing and or daily road use the 305/30/19 on the stock rear might be fine, but putting a tire engineered for a larger rim than you have, is not a good idea for raod racing application. The rim width will effect the tire shape/contact patch and its ability to correctly rollover or deflect in a corner. The reason that the companies have a reccommended rim width range is to keep the tire working to its optimum ability. IMHO, will if fit yea is it only .5 inch diff yea but not the best fit.
I have the 295/30/19 r888 and they are fine for the standard wheel and HP.
