The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Edit: Here's the story from the EPA's website:

The interesting part of the article is the end of the third paragraph where they state "there is no "off-road" use exemption from the pollution control requirements of the Clean Air Act." So I guess even if you build your car into a race car, you still have to have all pollution control equipment intact and working!

Well, I took the car to the local Chevy dealer for warranty work and the first thing they do is plug in and see if the computer has been tuned. If they find it, they will turn you in to GM and void your entire warranty (everthing, the entire car). So, they called me and told me to put the stock tune back. And I did...
Now, without the rear O2s, I get a service engine light and the dealership sees that when they plug in. So, I guess I am going to have to put the rear O2s back and see if I can get the warranty done or find another way of getting it through their crappy warranty department.
I went to another chevy dealer and they said the same thing. The dealer has to get authorization to do the warranty work and they always ask to verify that the computer has not been tuned and is stock.

I hate GM. Buy a 60K car and you better not touch it or else
Anyway.. thanks for the help.
