colder and less dense air equals more HP. If a dyno is calibrated then they should produce consistent accurate results. A good operator and set up will adjust for temperature, pressure altitude, density altitude foir a result measured at standard pressure and sea level.
Very nice results and the LS3 rocks with those baby LS7 style heads

I'm feeling a tad more disappointed in the outcome
How does it shift now..............
Does the seat-of-da-pants meter show a gain
Are you smiling more...........
Nothing wrong with those #s
Let me track it once and I can tell better........

He didn't do too much with the shift points since he said that can change the use of the paddles.
When I hit the gas now, rather than just lunge forward, you can feel it dig into the pavement, and then take off
I'm pleased with the numbers ... and the mods. end because of them. In my '99 and '07, I did headers, X-pipe, high flow cats, etc. but, I just don't see the need this time around.
The track .... probably not
Thanks for your input before I made my decision to get the work done in the first place
Nice numbers. The LS3 does like a little more air. Mine was super rich on fuel, like 10.8:1 in some places. Now that the bug has bitten, the next question is how far will it go..
props to you, though for some really good #s so far.

Congrats, I got almost the exact same numbers out of my '08 LS3 A6 with a Vortex Rammer and a tune (stock dual mode exhaust). I think I had 373rwhp before and 395rwhp after a bunch of tuning runs on the dyno.

I see these numbers and i feel torn in between keeping my factory warranty intact and my desire for more HP.
Adding a CAI, a stat, & mufflers won't void you warrenty. Hell my car is noticably cammed, slammed, & obviously not stock hood opened or closed & I got all kinds of warrenty work. No drivetrain issue, but a four wheel alignment after lowered which one is covered in 1st year. The rest conv. top fixes, interior a-pillers delaminating, sqeaks & rattles, hell even top excessive wind noise at over 100mph. The worked on it all. The service manager did say, you know we're doing you a favor, but it was probably after he saw the car roll through for the 10th time. Supposedly a perf. tune may raise the 'ol red flag, but you'ld be hard pressed to find a dealer to actually check it. If they do, put it back to stock & go to the next closest. Now if you supercharge it & blow something up you s.o.l., but external engine mods most people will work with ya, but it's an excellent idea to eastablish a report & get an oil change or alignment or 2 & become familiar w/ the dealer & let them become familiar w/ you.
Took the '08 A6 in and had the following installed, and tuned:
1) Halltech Killer Bee and Halltech Beehive Cold Air shroud
2) Corsa Sports
3) 160 thermostat
DynoJet results:
1st run: Hp: 371.8 Torque: 366.7
Last pull after mods: Hp: 397.6 Torque: 391.7
Note: humidity was high, temperature at 1st pull: 80 - last pull: 88
Hp gain: 25.8
Torque gain: 25
I know the #'s would be higher with cooler temp, less humidity, and the car being cold first thing in the morning, but, I wanted to share this info for members thinking about the same mods
I welcome info from others who did the similar to their C6
Gained the same 25 on my ls2. Hallteck intake, Corsa Sports and a tune. Recent thread shows ls3 a6'd dyno at 371. You are right on the money. Good job.
