Default Added some mods / Tune = Dyno #'s ...

Took the '08 A6 in and had the following installed, and tuned:

1) Halltech Killer Bee and Halltech Beehive Cold Air shroud

2) Corsa Sports

3) 160 thermostat

DynoJet results:

1st run: Hp: 371.8 Torque: 366.7

Last pull after mods: Hp: 397.6 Torque: 391.7

Note: humidity was high, temperature at 1st pull: 80 - last pull: 88

Hp gain: 25.8
Torque gain: 25

I know the #'s would be higher with cooler temp, less humidity, and the car being cold first thing in the morning, but, I wanted to share this info for members thinking about the same mods

I welcome info from others who did the similar to their C6

Isn't it a forum rule that if you do a mod you have to post pics?

I saw that requirement, and deleted it until I can get the car washed after the ride home

I was hoping that they were considered a good gain, since I heard the LS7's were getting 30-40 after a tune and similar mods

Nice gains with the mods. I might do something similar.

Hmmmmmmm... the interior photo is gone... OK... you are now UN-notified LOL.

Nice numbers , especially with an auto - The LS3 really makes amazing power .

My 09 ( manual ) made 415 to the tires with just a tune .

There is ALOT to be gained from a tune .

Nice #'s!

Add a tune and you'll probably get another 20-30 out of her!

Didn't his first post say "installed, and tuned"? I'm not understanding the "get a tune" comments

I see these numbers and i feel torn in between keeping my factory warranty intact and my desire for more HP.

I'm very pleased with them

Louder than stock, but, no drone, and a quiet cabin when driving at cruising speeds

415 ... that's great numbers with tune only

The LS3's do have some power

This is with a tune now, I'm feeling a tad more disappointed in the outcome

dude wtf? How am I only 20rwhp more than you, with full exhaust, ported intake, and ported tb? And mine is a mn6 vs your auto?

Dyno's are so inconsistent.

I agree, they are inconsistent, and I know they vary based on the Dyno equipment used.

Now, my tuner said, if he run the car in the morning when it was cold, and if the weather was cooler with no humidity, I could expect 15-20 more to the rear

Sorry mate, I thought this was without the tune. I am betting from your numbers that the magic was in the tune and the CAI didn't add much of anything. Still, nice numbers!
