Default Tire ?'S

Hey guys I am looking to get my dad some dr's for his 05 C6. I am not on here alot so I am having trouble finding an answer. I just bought a second set of 05 C6 wheels. My goal is to use the front wheels that are 18's to run dr's on track days. Does anyone no what size and brand I should use? Thanks for you help!

I used Nitto 555 Drag Radials in 305/35/18 and they worked great and DIDN'T stick out any.

Cool. Any reasons I should go 305/35/18 vs 305/40/18?

The 35's will have a shorter profile which will let you run at higher rpm's (not by much, but its all about milliseconds in drag racing) cause the the tire has a smaller overall diameter than the 40's. Make sense?

Bring this old post back. What size Hoosier drag radials can I fit on the 05 C6 front wheel for the rear? I can have it stick out at all. Any words of wisdom. Should I go with a different tire? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

LOL he drives it. I just mod it so I can keep us close on the track. I have an 03 Cobra. He's always saying if he had tires he would beat me so I wanna get him drag radials and have him put his money where his mouth is.

315/30/18s... make sure to turn the traction control off before runnin on em, or it will throw it in to limp mode. if it does go into limp, just turn the traction control off and it will resume speed.

8.5" front rim keep in mind. Looking for drag radials that won't stick out. Anyone else?
