I've disconnected my '06 battery and all I had to do was re-index the windows. (I believe the 'computers' monitor the radio code, tune, etc in SRAM so it remains without power)

I just installed a new battery last week. The only thing I had to reset was the window index and the time on the radio. Strangely the station presets were saved but not the time.

Sometimes I have to reset the TOD on the clock. And sometimes the memory seats, but not every time. I still do not understand why the memory seats sometimes retain the memory and sometimes they do not.
I just replaced my battery with the Yellow Top... and borrowed a plug in that I plugged into the under dash plug in... just to be safe... it kept all my settings.. radio, seats, I didn't even have to re-index my windows,, they still worked fine...

I've disconnected my battery many times, and I'll need to purchase a Red Top 35 next year I'm sure, but the only thing I've noticed that changes when the battery is disconnected is I've had to reset the clock; everything else was ok, seats, radio, windows, etc......maybe I just have good capacitors and RAM's, LOL!
