Shock upgrade Question?

Yes, they will fit the Base C6. If the search function is working properly, you can read many past recommendation and feedback on shocks. I have the Bilstein Sport shocks. IMHO, they are on the firm side, but a huge improvement in handling and control over the Base shocks.

I have read up on bilstien and koni. I just dont want to spend a ton of money on shocks. I would like some better performance but I dont need to get crazy. I just know I need new shocks cause mine are leaking I think. I believe the Z shocks are going to be the best for performance and budget.
The Bilstein Sports and HD are only $300 shipped. I've seen the used Z06 shocks around $220 shipped on the forum. I'm very pleased with the Blistein Sports for the money.

I think I will give gene a ring. Im pretty sure Im going to go with the Z shocks.

I have the C6 ZO6 shocks on my 02 ZO6. There OUTSTANDING!
Very good control in high speed rough sweeping turns. Almost eliminated that side step feeling that you get in rough road washboard turns.
Cant beat the price ver performance increase! Gene has them for $240ish new for all four.

I feel your pain, there is so many different shocks out there that I'm still on the fence myself......from the Z06's to Koni FSD's ($635) to LG Coilovers ($2,400) it depends what you're using the Vette for.....geez!

Yeah its crazy. I cant see spending 2g's on shocks cause I dont have wheel hop and I only auto x a few times a year. I mostly street drive and drag race.

As previously suggested give Gene a call and tell him what you are looking for with regard to your suspension I have found Gene to be very helpful
