Default Where is your Trans Cooler..

I'm putting in a Hi Stall converter, & want to also install a Trans cooler.. where are you guys putting the cooler..

On my 96 it was a no brainer.. right on the front of the condenser... but with my Trans (A4) in the rear, I don't know where to put the cooler..

Tkxx

I'd appreciate it if you could post them as I cant find the photos.. if you mount it in the FRONT I imagine you have to run lines from the rear (trans) to the front (where the cooler is)

thanks....

John

Disconnect the lines from the trans to the cooler in the radiator (pass side of car) install barbed hose connector in existing cooler line to new cooler lines, tighten with clamps. You can now install the cooler in front of the condenser like your C4.

Thank you... I didn't know I had a cooler in the radiator.. that will make it a much easier job !! Thank you...

In my 96 I had a "Stacked Plate" NOT the finned aluminium.. and it worked like a charm
