No problem. I think its sad when vendors selling CAI's that require cutting the shroud, do not make available pre-cut optional one. My Xcelerator had one precut and pre-riveted available. To their credit, I believe Vararam does.

You are correct the PC was once offered. I purchased the Pre-Cut shroud from Ecklers along with my Rammer intake back in 02.

Ecklers no longer offers the pre-cut shroud because it isn't offered to them anymore from Breathless Performance.

You could pick up the OEM GM Shroud from your dealer, cut it out on the bench with no worries and then swap it out with your in car original.

Beats hacking away bent over with low visibility in the compartment and you can tuck the original away.

If you can swap out for the extra one, why can't you remove the one on the car, cut IT on the bench and re-install it? From all that I've read here, you do NOT want to try to cut it while it is on the car!

I did mine on the car, it was APITA, but it turned out great.
I did hear of someone that puntured their A/C condenser, take your time.
