Default Lowering question

Will the shocks bottom out like my C5 did after lowering? 07 coupe Z51.
I'm not gonna slam it, just about an inch or so.

I have not seen anyone run into that problem with lowering all the way on the stock bolts, and I really havent heard anyone have that problem with the West Coast Corvettes lowering bolts.

The only problem I have heard and read about here on the forum is that if you do not grease the wcc bolts every couple of months the rubber/plastic comes off of them and they squeak like crazy.

No issues here, and I'm floored.

No problems with lowering the car, just have a alignment done after you install the lowering bolts asap.

Default Lowered on Stock Bolt's

I have my 05 lowered on stock bolt's (rear bushing cut) w/o any issues. I did have to raise it a little when I added Koni FSD's.

That looks good. I have been hesitant to lower mine because I dont to grind the front airdam on every dam thing. But I think i have reconsidered.

Go ahead and do it. The airdam is designed to scrape, it is spring mounted so it just flips right back after you hit it.

ok i still have had many people answer this in both ways...do you NEED to get alignment after lowering on ONLY the stock bolts? I am sure if you used aftermarket as this would be even lower. But just turnign down the stock bolts does that require a trip in for alignment ...

Lowered mine on stock bolts with no cutting. No issues

Right after took the car dealership and had then check the alignment. They put it on alignment machine and told me all is good. It's a very good idea to get it checked out.
