I purchased some used headers from a forum member. Need to get gaskets for them. Someone said get LS1 F body gaskets because they fit better. So here is the question what is a f body? Did a google search and a 98-02 camaro comes up. Is this what he's talking about?
I have used Fel-Pro performance gaskets in the past. These will fit. They are listed for LS1/LS6..http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
I know a lot of guys reuse the old GM ones with out problems if they are not damaged during the removal of the stock manifolds.

Just go to the dealer and get factory replacement gaskets and you'll be fine.

Yes, the term F-body refers to the GM Camaro and Firebird platform, not just 1998-2002 but it has been used to designate all Camaros/Firebirds built from 1967-2002.
The new/latest Camaro (2010+) should not be referred to as an F-body, though some might still choose to.
On a semi related note, the Corvette might also be referred to as the Y-body.
I know that doesn't answer the header gasket question but that's already taken care of above.

Like they said, either reuse stock gaskets or buy new stock gaskets, I did both on the LS2' of my 2 GTOs with no problems.
