How to patch a header pipe?
I have LG longtubes on my 05. One of the header pipes has a leak in it, so I took the car to a friend's muffler shop. The leak is on the top side of the pipe such that when the car is on the hoist the leak can't be seen looking up except with a mirror. He has tried to do a patch but can't quite get to all of it. He believes he would have to drop the entire unit to get to it. Has anyone had any experience getting to the top side of these pipes. Your help is appreciated.

That sucks man. I had a header leak that always plagued me on my firebird.
They do make exhaust patches that you can pickup at autozone that work pretty well.
On another note, I really wish this post would've been up when everyone was bitching about ebay headers possibly cracking
