I am looking for a mild cam for my 07 C6. I want it streetable yet I want the sound of a nice cam. Who offers a cam like I described that adds a lot of power and torque? Also should I change my valve springs? My car has about 1400 miles on it.

 

always do a cam kit..cam, springs & pushrods. You could probably run your original chain with your low miles if your cam isn't to aggressive but I will let the pro's take it from here.

I hope to swap out the cam in mine next year and will look to SpinMonster for advice based on my goals etc as I like his taste in cam only setup's for good power and driveability.

 

Here is what I went with:

I have the Whiplash Cam and love the crap out of it. See sig for the other things I did to my 07 too. Good luck with your cam selection. Make sure you get a new Cam Sprocket too. The 07 has a single bolt holding in your cam The new cam will come with three bolt holes.
