Default Next mod?

I have a 2005 C6 with a 6 speed. I have done the LG longtubes, High flow cats, Bullet muflers, CAI, 160 degree stat and a dyno tune. I am up around the 375 rwhp mark and want a bit more bang for the buck.
Anyone tried an under drive pulley system? I know I will probably end up going with a diff cam, but would like to max out the bolt on mods first. I also see a lot of members here going to the MGW shifter...My car is a nightmare to get into reverse. Will a new shifter help?

Before you get into a H/C set up, go FI. IMHO 450-500rwhp is not enough power.

Would love to...just not sure I can afford a 5000.00 upgrade right now...And of course another chunk of change to upgrade the rear end.

A lot of hassle to get an u/d pulley on...might as well do a cam at the same time. IMO, gears or FAST. Gears won't give you power but it'll feel like it. I don't yet have gears but I've done gears in past cars and they should have been one of my first mods. Just a bit expensive. A FAST will get you to the 400rwhp mark, maybe more with a ported FAST. Much better than u/d pulley IMO.

Default Fast

I had forgotten about the Fast....Actually there is a guy up here that swears he can get the same results from porting the stock intake....Thoughts?

Here is the dyno comparing my stock FAST vs stock ported intake. The port job was done by one of the well known shops but I don't remember now, it has been a long time.

Default Fast

Was the FAST ported as well? We are talking 15 hp and 21 ft lbs torque better than the ported stock....?

wait on the undersrive pulley until cam or heads. I got around 5-8rwhp with a pulley but it may cause problems with battery charge. when I ran Air conditioner and had pulley you could see the headlights go a little dim at a stop light UD Pulley does not keep battery charged as well as stock pulley and I read the C6's already have a big drain on battery. go fast intake.

Just re-program the computer for idle speeds of 700 RPM and you'll be just fine.

The FAST was stock out of the box. Not all port jobs are equal of course but my stock job was ported. Here were the gains going from stock intake to ported stock intake...different dynoshop but same type of dynojet. The peak gains weren't much but the average gain was decent, around 10rwhp/tq.

Passing along info I've read here, a ported stock manifold will yield maybe 10 hp, a ported fast although getting 25 on a h/c car seems to be getting only 15 on a basically stock car. Ported t/b yields practically nothing as does the stat.

Thanks guys, I think the ported Fast may be a reasonable priced answer, but for an extra 600 bucks, I can get the heads done and pick up 50 hp. the combo of the ported fast and the U/D pulley would get me 400hp and I wouldn't have to pull the engine apart. Maybe I just sell it and buy a Z06...ha ha. Thanks for all the help guys...now if I could only get some help with my reverse gear...

A stock FAST will get you to 400rwhp. I'd take a C6Z no doubt

He thinks he's around 375, but I do think 380-385 is closer, and I failed to mention, on a bolt on car, the ported or unported fast both yield approx 15 hp. I agree, that sould put him at or very near 400 rwhp.
