What a let down....

I got the money for header , install and tune. So I was planing on having Texas speed install there headers and tune the car because I thought they did all this. So I call up there to see how much ever thing will be and the guy on the phone says they dont do exhaust installs. So let me get this straight , they made there brand of headers for the C6 and there sopes to be this good performance place and they cant install there own header wtf? Even if I buy the headers idk a good place in west texas to have it installed and tuned.

Install it yourself. Its really easy and with the help of a friend you can do the whole exhuast from header to tail pipe in less than 4 hours. Ive done mine so many times now I can do the whole system in an hour. You have a ton of performance shops in texas. 21st century motorsports, lg motorsport, corvettes of dallas, england green I know there are more. Just save the install cash and buy another mod with it then take it to one of these tuners and have them put some pep in it.

Um you really cant mess up. There are a few bolts on the manifolds which are really easy to get out. The cats can be diconneted from the h-pipe and removed as a whole with the manifolds. Just diconnect the )2 sensors firts. Then you have some clamps that hold the mufflers to the h-pipe which are also easy to removed. Then instead of pulling the mufflers out of the rubber hangers just remove the hanger all toghether. Then turn and slide the muffler pipes out if you have an auto you may have to cut the passenger side off about 4in. Then put them back in and dont forget your antiseize on your header bolts and reconnect your o2 sensors. Its really straight forward and extremly hard to screw something up. If you were in my area I would install them for you for just a six pack

You really should. It is not a hard install at all. Almost as easy as intalling a intake.

Ok maybe a bad example then

. Its just some bolts. If you can turn a wrench and jack a car you can put headers in.

Alot of shops have stop doing work that envolves anything that affects the emissions on cars, there is a hefty fine for it.

Moving the cats from their factory/EPA certified location is the issue, not cats/no cats.

Well in all fairness, my local butcher cuts/sells a really good steak too but he still doesn't come to my home and cook it for me.
