can't wait for better air when a cold front comes in or when it gets closer to winter...until then i am going to lay low at the track...i was impressed with this run and don't want to push my luck anymore in this crappy weather...

Nice run!
Question....Both cars ran virtually identical times all the way down the track (ignore the RT) but your trap speed was almost 20 mph higher.
I can understand a few MPH but what would explain 20 mph? Did the other guy jump on brakes at the end?

I noticed that too. Op picked up almost 30 mph in the last 8th and the other guy picked up 5 mph, but the et's seem right. Oh well, congrats to the OP, great time and mph.

The other car also ran 5mph faster in the 1/8th so he definitely nailed the brakes at the end..........
Or since it was a mustang he probably ran out of gear.

3500 rpm and you were sub 1.6 on the sixty foot. Gives me hope that next time out I can get my 60' down a lot more with some practice.

yea...3500 launch...1st i have ever launched that high...next time out i'll try around 4000...
3500 is where my car wakes up...so i think that is why i hit a good 60'...i usually hit a 1.73-1.85 when i launch 2800 or below...
