Bad ignition switch
Has anyone else had a problem with their ignition switch going bad and causing battery drain . I have been having a problem with the battery draining and have had the car into the dealer twice after having to call G.M. Roadside Assistance for a tow. The first time they changed the alternator, just about a week later the car was dead in the garage again and back to the dealer it went. After jump starting the car the mechanic pulled it into the bay and shut it off. He then pushed the start button and the car started which was great, except for the fact that the FOB was in my pocket as I sat in the customer lounge. I am now waiting for them to install a new switch.
