Default Need help with heads

I have a 07 a6. and i found some heads and came. for sale and i was just wondering if gto heads will work. the casting #317. and the guy told me that these heads flow better then stock ls2s. and the heads are gasket match and port&polished. so i would like to know it will work. and are these heads better flowing heads.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

You will lose power by going to the LQ9 (317) heads. They lower the compression ratio and are used on forced induction engines

The other 2 posts said it. These are pretty close to the same casting as a 243, but with bigger chambers which drop your compression. Any power you would make with the clean up/port will be offset by the compression loss.
