Default Silicone hoses for 2005 Corvette?

Do you think it is worth the money to buy these hoses and have them installed?
I have them on my 5.0 Mustang but they cost alot less on the Mustang GT.

I bought and installed the complete set from LG Motorsports. Are they worth the money? It depends on the individual - cost vs looks. Although they're costly - they look way cool.

I was thinking that the hoses will outlive the car and since it gets so hot in those close quarters of course the silicone will last longer than the rubber. But when was the last time you blew out your hose?

At 93,000 miles in other car. So after that I went with the silicone hoses and now 10 to 15 years later they are still great.

Anyone have any pictures of these hoses install, I'm looking at installing red ones. Just wondering what it looks like.

I'm not really one for underhood mods but I like those LG silicone hoses alot, especially the red! And its more than just looks, they should outlast the OEM ones. I'll have to add those to my X-mas list.

Why is the cost so much more on the C-6 silicone hoses?
For my Mustang GT it only cost $100 for all 6 hoses.
The car is 20 years old the hoses are at least 10 years old.
C-6 is 31,000 with factory hoses.

I'll check it out and hopefully they won't be priced at $300
