C6 suspension question - custom application
I am currently building (or attempting to build) a track-day type car that utilizes all C6 parts.
I'll get right to the point - the "trim height" of my chassis is about...well, zero. (The lower control arms are roughly parallel with the ground, maybe even at a 1 or 2 degree incline) I know the GM recommendations are in the 1.5 - 1.7" range. I assume that this destroys the intended geometry of the C6, but I am wondering if the change is so massive and/or detrimental as to cause me problems. I can raise the LCA mounting locations if necessary, but I'm hoping to avoid all of that work.

I am planning on using coilovers, but I don't know if that will allow me to compensate for the drastic reduction in trim height. I'm not a suspension guru by any means.
When you guys lower your vettes does the trim height fall below factory specs? It seems like it would, but I doubt you would be hitting zero.
Any help is much appreciated. I look forward to sharing my creation here...if I can ever get it finished.
