Default option to consider?

I had the same thing happen to my ’08 manual C6. After burning my connectors, I replaced them with another set of OEM connectors and thought I had it licked. Shortly after this I sold the car to my best friend who is a jet mechanic for United Airlines for 30+ years. He too began experiencing the same melting connector problem so he installed larger and bigger connections. But it still continued. Finally we bought from Southern Car Parts.com their C6 Corvette Fan Control Switch. This is a manual switch that allows a person to have three different positions to control the radiator fan. You can keep the switch in the center (O) / “NORMAL” position for normal ECU fan control. Press the (I) position to manually run the coolant fan on low, or press the (II) position to manually run it on high. We found that the car’s ECU wanted to have the fan run on HIGH way too long. This would overheat the connections and quickly lead to burning them out. We preferred having three options at our finger tips. This way we could control the water temps ourselves and have control over not having to over-run the fan in the high position too much. The switch really worked for us. This option may be what anyone out there might want to consider? https://www.southerncarparts.com/cor...tch-p-721.html

Without you guys I would have bought a whole new fan assembly before finding this out. Thanks very much!

how did you wire it. And please don’t show me the diagram. Lol. I tired but nothing is happening. And when I mix it up. The fan comes on while the cars off. So tell me which wires and colors connect to which wires
