Option Unavailable?

Option Unavailable?

i have a problem with the "option" key in the cockpit. It only says option unavailable when pressing the button. everything was fine, then my fob wasn't reading and now this. Any one know whats going on?

What's the fob number that you were using programmed as? Sounds like you might have been using a #3 or #4 fob, which doesn't have memory options.

im using #2. have been. i bought the car it only had 1 fob, the i gutted it out in put custom rims..etc
never touch anything else. everything was working just fine...till about two days ago.

You say the car only came with one remote. When you bought the second one, did you wipe out ALL existing remotes first? If you didn't, your 'additional' remote was added as #3, as ALL C6's come from the factory with #1 and #2 pre-programmed.
