info on catback selection
I am pretty much decided on LG Pro LT headers to go on my 07 C6 M6. If I'm not mistaken, this system is 3" all the way through and had a couple questions before selecting a catback/axleback to compliment the headers. I have narrowed down my selections to the Cosra Extremes or GHL as I am not interested in dealing with the "drone" factor.
1. Do I need a catback with the LG LT headers or would a axleback
work?
2. Are any of the above mentioned systems 3"?
3. would Hi-flo cats be a wise decision with this setup? I done mind
super loud or the smell as this is not a daily driver, but DO NOT want
alot of popping. Not sure if the Hi-flo cats prevent this.

I also have the LGs. Good choice in my opinion. As for exhaust systems most of them are offered for the Z06, that will be the 3" systems that will fit your C6. Axle back is all you need. If you are going with a 3" axle back make sure you ask LG for the 3" rear section for the headers so everything will hook up. You might as well get the high flow cats. They don't rob much HP and you will have them if ever needed. They also keep the popping and cackling down a little.
