updates to reprogram ECM and TCM
i think there are some updates (GM tsb's i think) to reprogram ecm and tcm for better driveability and shifting(i have a 2008 A6). is there anyone on here that can get these and send a file to reprogram on a HP tuner or where could i go? i don't want to go to a dealer even though it is still under warranty.any ideas?

My understanding is you can buy a GM subscription for a year and get all updates,Ford has something simular but you pay a fee for files for a 1 or 2 day subscription(something like $50). with GM you have to buy a year(like $1000 or so). independent shops are usually the one's that get these or maybe people who sell ECM's....
