Default DTE Powertrain Corvette Differential Sale! --->

Now that we have finally settled into our new facility over these last couple of months, where most of our equipment/machinery is up and running AND since we haven't held a product sale for a number of years; we decided to host a differential sale in response to that, taking care of our customer base that got us here.

We've contacted all of our product dealers all across the USA this past week to let them know about it also, so they are plugged in with us already at the same pricing and are ready to serve you.

**From now until Labor Day, all DTE Powertrain lines of "Sport" and "Super Sport" Series C5 and C6 Corvette IRS Differentials are on sale at 15% off and this covers all C5, all base C6, all A6/C6 and all C6-Z06 Corvette Differentials! This major discount will save you anywhere from $210-$525 off depending on the model chosen!!

You may purchase directly from us as always and we can ship the the completed unit to your door or you may purchase from your favorite installer/tuner and they can install it for you. We're pretty flexible with shipping routes and have a good depth of authorized installers all over the USA to take care of just about anyone...anywhere!

Below are the respective web pages that you can review which outline our entire C5/C6 Corvette IRS Differential product line, except for the "Competition" Series Differentials, so please call direct about those specialty units if interested. Just click on the page and a file will open for you that containes the differential menu/options/prices for your respective model year.

If anyone has any questions, please call the office at 260-407-5455, drop us an email at info@dtepowertrain.com or you may refer to any of our qualified network of installers and dealers that can assist you also.

Thanks gents and have a GREAT day!!

Best Regards,
-Phil

2 questions:

1) Is it 15% off the prices in the PDF?

2) In the Stage 1 & 2 description the left output shaft is listed twice. Was it intended to be right and left Z06 output shafts?

1) Yes.

2) You are correct and sorry for the typo. I'll change it in the morning.

Great deal for those in the market.

Congrats for making the transition into the new facility - I'm looking forward to seeing it sometime.

We've got you 2005 folks covered also, so please refer to the C5 Corvette Differential Sport Series pricing for 2005 model year applications of Stage 1 & 2, as those designs are very close to each other. We'll have the 2005 model year menu posted up sometime here soon when I get a minute away from the shop, I just ran out of time today to get to everything. Also, the 2005 model year can be upgraded to the new 2006 design for an additional charge, which the new menu for that model year will outline for you.

Well this sale was the kick in the a$$ I needed. Got some 3.90s coming.

FYI, the sale does not include micro polishing or the strut kit.

The M/P yes, but not for the strut kit, so if you placed your order w/ Jenny today and she told you the M/P wasn't included, she made a minor mistake that can easily be corrected for you. Give me a call back Monday and I'll fix it for you to include the M/P in the sale price.

Thanks for your order and have a nice weekend!

Folks,

DTE are a bunch of top notch folks and their 3.42 rear end was a fantastic mod!

For anyone thinking of doing this mod, stop thinking and just buy them! If you're running an A6 go with the 3.42s. You will NOT be disapointed!

Here's a link of the gear/header swap we did in AintQuik's garage on jack stands...

Hi Phil , Do you have any plans for offering a different differential for the 2007 ZO6 ? I am keeping the tune and engine mostly stock because of the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty . A little more aggressive gearing sure would be fun , it is not my daily driver .

Note ...The 2006 Z51 still performs with absolutely ZERO problems . I am completely amazed at how a car with only 437 rwhp performs on a daily basis .

Will do. I ordered the MP, but every little bit of savings helps.

Default Thanks Ragtop 99

Thanks Ragtop 99 for trying to help out with the information . I was interrested in a different gear set for the 2007 ZO6 . I do not know if anybody is offering a 390 or higher gear instead of the 342 that comes standard in the ZO6 .

A few folks' that have called the office have asked the same questions, so I thought I'd post the answers here for others too...

1. When we ship a built differential from our facility, we fully insure the package for the total amount of the completed product (typically $2000+) as a worse-case total loss scenario; just in case the shipper loses or catastrophically damages the product beyond use. While this method costs a bit more to ship from here, it absolutely ensures our customers get their new differential in 100% undamaged condition and if not, it's covered so they can get a new one right away as a replacement. We've used this method for 6+ years with outstanding success! The customer however, does not have to insure their core return for the same amount as the outgoing shipment, therefore. the core return shipping costs for the customer are usually less than $45 or so, depending on where you are. Just insure your core return for the core dollar amount and you'll be good.

2. To make it easier to ship the core back to us, you may use the HD packaging we used when we sent you your built differential, just make sure the core is fully drained of oil and the box is taped up or stapled shut well.

3. Differential options have been added above in the first post for 2005 C6 Corvette applications as requested.

Hopefully that helps gents, thank you for the orders thus far and have a great weekend!

Phil

Default '05 Core?

Didn't read the PDF, but when you upgrade an '05 Z51 diff w/3:42s, to lets say an '06 or later 4:10, do you get anything for the '05 core? Does the kit include eveything to do the conversion? Thanks in advance.

All of the core trade details and product information is defined in great detail in the files uploaded in the original post and they'll answer your questions directly and also probably some you haven't asked yet.

Thank you.
