I think I may go with the Corsa myself. I was thinking of having them installed by one of the vendor sponsors http://www.corvettespecialty.com/www...cPath=61_62_63

I haven't checked install prices yet, but their system prices are really good. I have an MT6 C6 coupe Z51.

I found a how to video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJaJjUoUOms
They make it look pretty easy. I don't like going much beyond the difficulty of an oil change, but it looks pretty doable from the video. Anyone try with only one person on ramps? I noticed they had two when connecting muffler to pipe.

the LS motors have a different firing order, you will never get that "muscle car" sound

Ordered my Corsa Sport system from the vendor above. Should get it in about a week. That's a long time if you're still a kid at heart like me. I'm excited!

You're going to be very pleased unless you DEAF!

Well, had the Corsa Sports installed today. First impressions are good. The trip home was 40 miles or so freeway, and about 5 miles on surface streets. After my chores I plan on some more surface street driving.
It seemed like the Sports were a good choice for what I wanted. My thoughts before purchase is they're a lot cheaper than touring, and I can convert to touring if it's too much sound. My guess before purchase was that I probably would do the conversion, as I did not want it too loud. Based on impressions so far, the conversion may not be necessary. This is not really that loud.
On the freeway I can barely hear any difference below 2k RPM and cruising. As advertised here is absolutely no drone. The only differnce I could hear as compared to stock was there is a similar sound as the decel pop at cruise, except scaled down by a factor greater than 10. The actual decel pop at those conditions is just a gentle burble.
At idle there is a difference. Just a little louder than stock, and a little meaner sounding.
Going through the gears from a stop there was definitely more sound, but not too loud. I like the tone, and love the decel pop and burble. Looking forward to more driving this eve!

Oh BTW, Corvette Specialty in Riverside was great! Prices and service were top notch. I will definitely consider them 1st on any future purchases. It was a pleasure dealing with Regis.

Congrats man! I'm glad you're happy!

I went with the SLP loudmouth because I wanted it be loud and deep. I felt the same way as you. Driving through town I had a smile on my face the whole way home

Although, if I were you, I would have done it myself. Buy a 12 pack and take an afternoon to do it (if it's your first time). It is VERY satisfying and VERY easy

I have the magna's and really like them. If you cam and supercharge beleive me you will like the less aggressive sound of your exhaust as those two mods add considerable sound. Overall I think my car sounds unbelievable.

Default Exhaust

I have a C6/06 stock exhaust. I'v been trying to decide what exhaust system to put on my car. I listened to alot of youtube sound, but not in person. I finally got a chance to listen to some in person. This past Sunday I rode with a friend of mine who has a 2007 Z 06 with the Corsa Sports. When he cranked the car you had the deep sound that sounded really good. When we rode down the rode with throttle up. You felt he HP. Now setting the cruise you can talk to each other, listen to your radio without the drone sound. The system sounded great. I'm putting Corsa Sports on my car. Now like alot of other drivers it will be personnal choice. I recommend listening to several car exhaust before spending the money. Hopefully I'll have mine on in a couple of weeks. OK, if I drank a 12 pack while installing it myself, I would have put it on backwards.
Yeah, I probably could have done it myself. The video link posted above makes it look pretty easy. Part of my final decision was I am sick this weekend. I'm impatient all the time. I did not want to wait a week until I felt better. That and sometimes these do it yourself projects end up with unforseen surprises.
Hey, you guys are right, there are a ton of clips on youtube. It is definitely better to hear it in person though. I plan on being at the event in Huntington Beach on Sunday 8/23 if anyone wants to check mine out.
