In either case have you experienced fuel mileage increase using Amsoil?
Thanks,

Yes, if you prowl around their website, specifically the areas talking about their automotive oils, they do talk about maximizing fuel efficiency.
I have always used Amsoil but not because of their fuel efficiency claims but because i feel they offer some of the best product in the market.
But I have never done MPG studies so I really don't know if it has helped my fuel mileage but I have read many articles over the year about having better mileage after using Amsoil. Mostly the diesel rigs that can use every stitch of mileage increase they can get.
I also use AMSOIL. You may experience a slight MPG gain but only minimal if any at all. What you will notice is cooler running temps and smoother shifts. My AT and oil temps did drop a couple degrees from previous operating temps in my C5 and did the same in my C6. The rear diff chatter was eliminated with AMSOIL in both my C5 and now my C6. Can't argue with success.
When shifting my cars to AMSOIL engine oil, tranny fluid and diff fluid, I have noted an improvement in mpg, but haven't done anything definitive to prove or document this. I also feel that using their AMSPIL P.I. Performance Improver about once per month helps keep fuel injectors clean and thus improves, or maintains, mpg.
I use them. I like using them for the extended drain intervals, changing oil isn't a favorite thing of mine to do. I usually change every 10-15k miles. I wouldn't do that with most other oils.

Not sure if they make the specific claim or not but all synthetic oils by design should help increase fuel economy at least slightly.
I use Amsoil in my motor as well but never really noticed an increase over my car's already GREAT gas mileage, great oils though.
