Spoiler vs Splitter
Chin Spoiler vs Splitter...
Is there a real difference in the two? "Spoilers" are less expensive than the splitters so I was wondering if they perform the same, street wise that is.
Ive had the car in the upper triple digits with no real notice to front downforce (I currently have the base C6 front) so is it really going to come down to appearance?

I know the differences but with regard to the front only... Is there a diff between spoilers and splitters? I know the shapes vary with regard to how far they extend forward from the bumper BUT for street use is a spoiler just as effective as a splitter?
For ex. is the Z06 lower front bumper effective in keeping the car stable?

Wait are you refering to spoilers as to a chin spoiler or rear end spoiler?
I believe all the aerodynamics on the Z06 are functional (ie: chin splitter). It prevents nose lift and lowers the drag coefficient.
Beyond that I think a splitter and a chin spoiler are the same thing, just different name.
