Default Replaced Battery-Now Window Problem

I replaced the battery in my 06 coupe and now when I close the door, the window doesn't go back up.

You know the half inch or so that it goes down and up when you open and close the door...

Anyway, it goes DOWN when you open the door - normal.

But it doesn't seal when the door is closed. When I'm inside the car, I just do it manually with the power window switch. But when I'm outside the car... Well you get the point.

Any ideas about what I should check? Which fuse, etc.
Car is still under warranty so I can take it to a dealer if necessary, but they charge over $100 to replace a fuse. I found that out the hard way on my last car. So I only want to take it to a dealer if it's a problem OTHER than a fuse.

They probably just need to be reindexed. Get in the car. Roll the windows all the way up. Hold the button in the up position for 3 seconds, release, then repeat.

PS: the procedure is in your manual in case I didn't quite get it right.

Take a look at this thread. You basically have to re-index the windows.

With the window all the way up, hold the window button in the up position 3-5 seconds after its all the way up. Let go and then hold again for another 3 seconds. Do it to the other window and you should be set.

For the rest of you, remember the ignition needs to be ON or in ACCESSORY to make the windows work . . . . .

If you've got the battery disconnected for more than a few seconds, you've ALWAYS, ALWAYS got to reset the window indexing.

Also, VET top will not go up or down until the windows are reindexed.
