2009 tpms
Forum vendor Gene Culley ( http://gmpartshouse.com ) will have the sensors for you - around $250 for 4 of them.
I'm not sure about the 2010 C6 yet. There's some indication that it may use a different sensor, but I need to stop by a dealer, check the RPO colde in the glove compartment on a 2010, get a 2010 VIN, and check with the parts department to see what part# it uses.
If you look in the glove compartment at the sticker that has the RPO coldes on it, any U.S spec C6 from 2005-2009 should have the RPO code of UJ9 in with all the other codes - and that's the code for the TPMS computer part of the RCDLR that works with the sensor part# listed above.
One list of 2010 codes I saw had a code of UJM for the C6 (I think). If that's the case, the 2010 may use a different sensor.
Anybody with a 2010 who can verify whether the TPMS RPO is UJ9 or UJM??? Do you know what sensors are in your 2010???

Bob

I don't know for sure, but I believe the 433.92 mHz is for export. Hopefully someone else can answer this. If you have one out I would go by the color and buy the same color again. Bob's post above points to the gray 25758220.
Here's a picture of the Euro spec tire pressure sensor for a 2005-2009 C6 (I don't know about the 2010+ Euro spec cars). You can see that it's orange in color, and it's GM part# 25758221:
A U.S. spec C6 will use the GM distributed gray peanut shaped sensor. Our sensors are made by Schrader, and you can get them from some sources directly from Schrader and they are red in color and Schrader Part# 20076.
Here's a picture of the Schrader sensor for a 2005-2009 that is distributed through the GM parts system:
And below is a picture of the same sensor made by Schrader, but distributed through other sources than GM:
.
The 2010 Corvette uses the same sensor used by the Cobalt, G5, 2006-2009 Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado, Monte Carlo, Impala, Cadillac DTS, some 06/07 Escalades.
I think this will be good news for 2010 Vette owners.
- The green sensor is cheaper (about $45 instead of $65)
- There are some aftermarket sensors that are even cheaper yet
- You can program them into the TPMS without a tool - they will trigger if you change air pressure in the tire by about 8 to 10 psi (either let air out or put some in). You can also use a TPMS tool.
So....that's good news that you can program your sensors withouth an expensive tool. You'll need an air compressor to either add air or readjust pressures after letting air out, but that would be better than always needing a tool!!
However.....in January 2011 they changed the tire pressure sensor - same TPMS, but a different sensor. They changed to this black sensor, GM part# 20925924:
A 2010-2013 can use either the black or green sensor, and either one can be triggered during the relearn procedure by a TPMS Tool, but only the green one will also trigger by changing air pressure in the tire.

it is right, the original part no. is 25758220 (315MHz) it apply for c6 2005-2009
If you wanto the another source, Orange Electronic Co.may good choice.
the same item of Orange TPMS no. is SC8220
(100% compatible, 1 year worrenty, the sensor can meet all the different wheel)
you can ask nearby tire shops, they can help you.
the cost is 40% off compare with Original. (sorry, no commercial)
just for your reference, thanks

That's how my wife's 2008 Trailblazer works. I couldn't believe how easy it was.
