no it doesn't.... none of the c6 cars do you just shut it hard enough it doesn't engage a motor to pull it down
Sorry, but you're wrong! My '07 Coupe 3LT has an electric pull-down for the hatch; maybe you should check the facts and owner's manual before you make a blanket statement like that!
All the base C6 coupes have the auto pull down latch for the hatch.
The 2006-2008 Z06 did not have the feature - they had the same manual latch as all the verts have.
In 2009 and 2010, ALL coupes (including Z06 and ZR1) have the pull down latch (edited: actually, I don't know about the GS coupes).
I really liked the feature on my '05 coupe, and when I got a 2006 Z06 I missed it. So.....I put an auto pull down latch into my Z06. Here's a link to a thread about it (you have to scroll down to post# 34 before I get parts and start doing the installation):
thanks guys, you busted me i have an O5 Z51 1SB, that's a fully loaded, and i don't see it in my manual or i have never seen it pull down like the old f bodys, on them it was obvious, i just dont see it on mine, but mine came with a hatch handle and i have read somewhere the newer one didn't ok i went out and checked, if it hits the latch and doesnt shut all the way i always would open then drop from a little higher, now i went and just popped the hatch with the key fob and just pushed down a little and it pulled down i will stick to racing and answering questions about those things, good bust guys
