DeWitt or Davis Radiator?

DeWitt or Davis Radiator?
Did a search and found a discussion of this topic posted in 2005, very informative. But, that was 4 years ago.
My 05 has a forged 402 stroker with a procharger D1SC, it's a Z51, 6 speed with heads, cam, headers, etc.
I live in SE FL and the temps are hot and humid.
Need to replace the radiator, did a stupid thing and ran over something that busted the radiator cradle, fan schroud and nicked up the radiator. My insurance company gave me money to replace the cradle, schroud AND radiator.
The car is my every day drive. I don't drag race (anymore) and I'm not into road racing.
So, which one?

They are both high quality and are both what I would call direct fit.
I can only speak personally about Ron davis racing in that their customer service is outstanding and way above and beyond what their obligations were in my situation. That said, i think you would be very happy with either one.

I agree with C6400; in all the time I've been on 2 different CF forums, I've only read of one negative instance re the two companies mentioned. And I do recall it was more the car owner's issue than the companies. Both have outstanding reputations imo.

Who knows? I have a Dewitts and its great as is the quality and fit.
The only negative I would say is lack of information related to hooking of the dual SPAL fan should you choose to go that route.

Let me say that Ron Davis makes very nice radiators but they do tend to cost a little more than a DeWitts. With that said, I would think anyone of the items below would be enough to tip the scales in our direction.

I had a Bee-Cool (sp?) in our 2001 and it started leaking after a year. Replaced with another Bee-Cool and that one also started leaking after a year. I'd definitely choose a different brand.

I have a DeWitts for my Z51 MN6 and the larger DeWitts was actually easier to get in than the OEM was taking it out. It is extremely well made as noted above and I'd buy it again for the same reason I own one. Great product, great price, great results. Thanx for your participation on the Forum, Tom.

Personally, I'd go with the Ron Davis radiator mainly because I know more guys that use them with good results. Also, mechanics I trust and performance shops I deal with also recommend Ron Davis radiators.
