Anybody ever try adding better sound damping material to the inside of the engine hood?
Getting ready to add FI and already have a high performance valve train that makes a bit more clicking sound than I like at idle. I want to remove the engine covers and trick it up a bit with a fuel delivery system and future NO2 with braided lines and AN fittings. Just think the old school look is better.
Thinking of something like this under the current OEM shield.
i don't think it will help in the engine compartment as most the sound comes threw the fire wall and the passenger compartment air filter feed, radiates to the ground and under, just accept its a performance car
