Ok guys I'm new to this forum, however I have an issue with my C-6 it says shift to reverse and the car is in reverse. So the acc. power will not shut off, what I did was I disconnected the ground wire and went to work for a week came back plugged the battery in and the car still says shift to reverse but now when i got to start the car the whole car dies power and everything almost like a ground issue as soon as I take my foot off the clutch the car powers back up but with the same shift to reverse issue:smash. I've had the battery tested and it's fine.

Any thoughts??
I am having the exact issue right now. What was your resolution? I really hope you or someone else has an answer. I am about ready to flatbed to the dealship...UGH!!
FYI, I did replace the battery because my charger said bad battery. I really don't think it was bad, just looking for solutions.
Odd problem.
DBS is where the '05 MN6 doesn't fully or properly shut down despite being in reverse. There is a software fix that your dealer can install, if it has not yet already been done.
Beyond that you may have an odd hardware problem that might require more dealer involvement. Maybe a tranny, shifter or sensor problem.
The problem was the shift switch for the error message shift to reverse. The car powering off ended up being a bad computer and it had to be replaced. It took the dealership 14 hours to diag. the problem after tracing all the electrical. Since the computer has been replaced the car has run great. I figured I had some issues before with strange warnings and check notes on the dash that would cycle thru one after the other. I feel the computer had been acting up for about 4 months and finally packed it in.
