I recently purchased a 2009 - c6. Car is equipped with the CD player/nav system. I made 2 MP3 CD's on 2 different computers. Both CD's play with no problem in my 2008 Toyota Highlander (sorry about that other brand). When I load the MP3 CD's into the Vette's player I get two messages, the first says "Loading Disc" the next message states "No Valid Disc Loaded". The system returns to the radio. What am I missing? What is not Valid about my MP3 CD's? I would appreciate your help. Thanks, Ron

Sometimes a slower burn rate helps. If not, maybe try a different brand of blank CD.
I had the same issues with my 2006 when I got it. Basiacally the MP3 player for the vettes is a piece of s&*#$. It is very picky about certain original file formats, ID3 tags, and the length of the filename.
I think I had to shorten all of my filenames to fewer than 16 characters to make it work. You can find some more information on it using the search feature.
I thought that if you had NAV, then it wouldn't play mp3s. I have the 6-cd changer system in mine and haven't had one problem (but this is a 2005 Vette).

Mine is 05 w/ 6 disc and wont play mp3 either. Works fine in home stereo.
I have the Nav and had the same problem. You have to use short names for the tracks. It says up to 25 characters including the .mp3 but it won't work. Just rename the songs you want to burn something short and it will work. Mine did.
