I've got a fuel injector leaking fuel after RR of FAST. It's leaking from between the rail and injector. My question is: do I remove the clip and pull out the injector? Is there a way to release the pressure first?
Thanks,
Buddy
On the left fuel rail there is a schrader valve, unscrew the plastic cap and get a small flat head screw driver and press the valve in to release the pressure, get some rags because some fuel will come out.
Unbolt the fuel rail and put some rags under the injector you are going to replace, since there is still fuel in the rail. Put some grease on the injector O-rings, snap it back in and blot the fuel rail back in and your good to go.
