Will C5 wheels fit C6?

I have several set of C5 wheels and tires but am selling the C5 and getting a C6. Will my wheel setups work? I know I have to run a spacer on the rear to run C6 offsets on a C5. I am thinking that means C5 wheels would stick out on the rear of a C6?

C5 Diameters are wrong, most 17" won't fit the front C6 brakes, the offsets are wrong and the width is wrong for stock C6 or C6 upgrades.

Im pretty sure they well work but like haljensen mentioned the sizes are wrong and you wont be able to put the right size tires on them. They will actually set back in the wheel well a little and look kinda funny. I would just sell em and get some c6 sized wheels.

I have 2004 rear thin spoke 18x9.5" on the rear of my C6 for my race tires.. and they fit perfect, I also have the Z51 with bigger breaks...

C5 wheels fitting a C6

C5 wheels fit a C6 perfectly.
C5 Z06 wheels fit the front & rear of a C6 Z51 perfectly, no spacers needed front or rear.

I thought the C5 front wheels were 17"? My C6 Z51 18" wheels barely (1/2") clear the brakes in the Front.

The C5 18" rear wheels are 23mm less offset so they move the tire nearly an inch towards the fender of the C6.

Have to remember that the C6 has a narrower, shorter body on a longer wheelbase.

I am not sure if the 17" C5 Z06 wheels fit on the front of a C6 Z51 but I am positive the 18x10.5" C5 rear Z06 wheels fit perfect on the front. I have seen them on several cars running tires from 275/35-18, 285/35-18 to 295/30-18 on these wheels.
