reduced power mode..help
I have an 08 that the battery has just gone dead for the 4th time. Happens when the car sits for more than a week. This time I put the charger on it and it started ok but now its in reduced power mode and all my warning lights are coming on. Is there away to reset this ??? has to be from the battery issue I would assume !

Reduced power mode comes on when the battery voltage drops too low. Have you replaced your battery yet? Or do you just keep recharging it? If you're still using the same bad battery Reduced Power mode is probably coming on because the battery can't put out ~12V anymore. Get a new battery and the warnings should go away.
If it's still going flat with a brand new battery you must have a drain/short somewhere. Then you'd need to start the usual tests with a multimeter/ammeter to find the bad piece of electrical equipment.

I have dual mode exhaust with the mild to wild remote. I think that's causing the drain but the dealership says it's ok. Thanks for the tip on the reduced power. I will try a new battery...probably needs one now that it has been drained so many times.
