I noticed yesterday my "G" meter on the HUD is reading between 0.10 and 0.13 when I am travelling in a straight line! At first, it was during a windy day and thought it was measuring the wind force and subsequent steering input, but when the wind subsided, the meter is still not at 0.
When I turn right, the meter zero's then adds #'s to the turn....when I turn left, the #'s just increase...
Anyone else notice this????
Any possible causes? Fixes???(haven't read the shop manual yet)
mine doesnt do that. I'd get that checked out because if that's the same sensor that active handling uses, it could cause active handling to come on when not needed.
I'm not sure if that's the same sensor though. maybe someone can chime in who is a little more familliar.
The crown of the road will do this, try driving on the other side if possible and see if it changes. If not there is probably a re calibration that can be done at the dealer. Also check to make sure the caster is close to the same on both sides of the car.
