Default What CAI to replace Vararam

Not happy with Vararam now. Having the shroud already cut for Vararam which other intake will fit using exsiting open should?

Don't know the answer, but I bought a K&N, a save buy.

I'd be surprised if you can reuse your cut shroud for any other intake, but if you have big bucks you could buy the new LG CAI that comes with it's own shroud.

Or you could buy a new shroud. I had to buy one to do the Callaway honker because I'd already cut my old shroud to do a poor man's CAI. I got the new shroud from Gene Currey (vendor here on CF) and it wasn't too bad (somewhere around $40).

Look at the BPP Vortex CAI. Better Quality...better fit and finish. Compare before you buy! I've owned the Vararam and replaced with the BPP Vortex. I.am much happier now.

The BPP went on without shroud replacement?

K & N doesn't make a CAI for the C6. Just a replacement filter or the Aircharger system, neither of them is a CAI

Get a Callaway CAI. Finish is like OEM. Works great. You will probably need a new shroud.

IMO you can't do any better than the Lingenfelter high-flow intake.

I really want to install a intake that I can keep the already CUT shroud, so as to get cooler air. I am thinking the AIRAID. Anyone know if this would work?

Thanks, this is the information I am looking for. Matching hole is not important just as long as the new intake will fit securely. If existing hole is to big I am not concerned if to small it can be re-cut.
