Probably - "be worth the extra money" - but then who knows?

You can tell an engineer, you just can't tell them much....

I bought a K&N kit.

Do a search. One of the least expansive intakes for our vettes. Supposed to be of good quality too.

The LS2 seems to have the need for a better intake. LS3 and LS7's have good ones. Many guys spend money for easy HP (me included, but I sent mine back), but HP just isn't cheap.
Hit the 'search' on the red line across the top of this page....type in 'intakes' and you can read all day on the subject, but you'll still not have a definite answer. Some swear by them...some don't.
Good luck with whatever you do.
