Like I was told, if there is anything inside the headlights, then its defective..the unit is suppose to be sealed and nothing should get inside. I have dead bug in my right light...taking to the dealership next week.

They aren't sealed. You cannot take off the lens. Try a shop vac through a bulb hole to get the bug out. Just place the hose close to the hole and I bet the bugs comes out.

I agree!! If your light is defective,,,,let the dealer replace it!

Other wise,,,your living with it! At least document the issue. if something gets worse in the future,,,your covered!

I will take it to the dealer when I get a chance. It does not look horrible just alittle dirty when lights are on or in the garage with the flourecent lights on.

I believe that is normal. You are probably seeing what appears to be a light film on the inside of the housing. My 07 has had this from day one. Even my 02 TrailBlazer has the same thing and it has not changed in over 7 years. I do not think any of them will be completely crystal clear. Just my 2 cents.

golf guy - condensation is normal, I don't think you'll get much from the dealer.

I would raise some cain about an 09, 08 for that matter with lens problems.

You'll have not much to any luck with the lights under warranty and out of warranty forget about it.

THe lights are not sealed air tight. Condensation is normal and bugs and crap can get in.

You can take them apart but if you have never did it you'll most likely ruin the lens in the process or end up with a crappy job.

My book says condensation is normal with light off. When on, heat drives out the moisture. The housing is vented and this'll happen when air moves in and out.
