I'm seriously considering doing my convertible with a rear only wide body conversion to fit stock Z06 wheels and tires. Who has the best price with most compete parts needed? Gene Culley?
We have everything down to the last bolt and nut. We can do a wheel and tire package also, I just got he new ZR1 Chrome wheels in a ZO6/ZR1 size also. I have two sets in stock and I should have all of the panels for the update kit instock also.
Thanks
Justin

I was thinking the same until talking to my body shop. He said with the Jetstream Blue, he would have to fade the color into all of the surrounding panels in order for it to match. It is a repsected shop in the area and they have done good work for me in the past. Have you talked to a body shop yet? I am curious if it is just the Jetstream of if this would need to be done on any color. I think with the blending it would have issues as it aged.
Thanks for the mention. I have an extensive parts list and I haven't had any complaints. Normally my price is the lowest until others come and advertise for a couple pennies less. Should that happen, we have a price matching policy, but compare the amount of parts you're getting with my kit.

You are at top of my list. Was looking at your post. The GS conversion is an option. I wonder if stock Z06 rear wheels/tires will fit.

If you do the GS rear conversion, the Z06 rear wheels/tires will fit the same as they do on the Z06, the rear is the same except that (from my understanding) if you get the GS convertible rear fenders, your shop doesnt have to do any cutting.

You're right. I looked at the spec for GS right after my reply. I was thinking of 345's, but these are stock ZR1. They may fit but may stick out little, but I like that. I want the option of 345's because I may also supercharge mine , I currently dynoed 465/441 w/heads/cam, but we all know that there's never enough.

Another option to consider since you're doing just the rear are the Caravaggio rear quarters without the Z06 brake scoops. You will still need to purchase the fender liners and you can modify them to work with the existing brake ducts.
Go for it. I did the rear only wide body upgrade and went with 19x12 LG Motorsport wheels on the back with 345/30R19 Nitto Invos. The tires and wheels fit perfectly with no rubbing anywhere at any time and my car is lowered.

345s will fit fine under the Z06/GS fenders. Lots of us are running 345 rears on Z06s

I have monterrey red, a three stage color, and although it is more challenging, a quality shop should not have a problem.
Well since is it sounds like it was pointed at my post, we have a price match policy, have had for year. My parts are in stock, we were the first to have the kits and the first hand knowledge of installing them.
Now moving on, our kit included all the fastners that are also needed. As far as colors, they are correct, you will have issues with all the colors if you are just going to paint a panel. That does not mean you can't do that of course, but to make it match you will have to blend even if your car is black, but especially the any metallic and any yellow.
Thanks
