I haven't notice much of a difference yet, i've only made 5-10 mile trips since i've change them, i won't know until i drive it a while.

I know this is an old thread, but I just picked up my '08 C6 and found this checking out the forums. Anyone interested in a compromise may want to consider ordering ZR1 mounts along with the plate that goes on top of them. Those mounts have very similar properties to factory mounts but with less travel will have much better durability in abusive situations.

Also, the comments about heat shielding are 100% correct. A difference of 10 deg F can cut the life of an engine mount in half. So make sure you keep your shields or pick up some ZR1 shields to use as well.
