If you're planning to run straight pipes without mufflers, regardless of size, you're going to have a big ear ache pretty quickly, unless the set up is strictly for the track. Need more info in order to make a recommendation, but 5" is definitely too large.....largest exhaust pipe i.d., ala Z06, s/b 3". Keep in mind too that engines are designed & tuned to run with exhaust back pressure.....I question whether this shop really knows Vettes. By the way.....are you running headers....cats?

If you are meaning to only reference the tips, you will be OK. If you mean the actual pipe, reference every post above.

That is a little large. I don't see that size of pipe fitting on the car. Most of the aftermarket tips are going to be 4" round. I'm not a fan of the no muffler sound on the cars. It makes them loud, but the sound is not quite 'Corvette'

Most are going to go with a Borla or Corsa system. All depends on the sound quality that you are looking for as well as how you use the car. Many of the sport systems are going to be on the louder side of things but may give you to much drone inside the car which is not good for long trips.

FYI

This shows 4, 4" round tips out the back of the car
