I assume the core has to be the same block as the new shortblock?

It makes the transaction easier but no, if you have a good usable core and I have a need, I will credit accordingly...

Default LS3 Shortblock 416 cid

I have several questions: (1) Are there options on pistons/rings for a 416 to run FI? If so, do you have suggestions? (2) Is this Aluminum block the same as the LS9 with "window" between Crank Journals? (3) What HP potential does this 416 cid have as you have it spec'd--regarding the bottom end, of course? (4) Is the $2850. price listed PLUS the core charge? What are shipping arrangements to Claymont, Delaware?
Feel free to PM me to create a dialogue regarding these issues and other things. TIA
Ray
