Default Brake Pedal

Installed SS Braided Brake Hose today, pedal feel, even after bleeding the brakes throughly twice has lost some pedal height. The brakes when actually engaged seem to be fine. Just the top inch or so does not seem to catch until further down. Like I said, they have been bled very well.
Anyone else loose pedal after installing Brake Hose's

Are you sure you got all the air out?

It sounds like you still have some air in the lines. I would rebleed if I were you.

I did S/S lines last year when I did the Z06 brake swap. Pedal feel is a little firmer with NO sponginess or length of movement. You likely have a little air in there, sometimes you dont know right away. Rebleed will do it I think.

Obvious question but did you check all fittings for leakage?

Default Pedal Feel

Think a re-bleed may be the answer, we did in fact check all the fittings for leaks, so believe the bleeding may fix the problem. Certainly do not have a firmer feel when compared to the stock hose's.

i would open the master cylinder cover and gravity bleed each wheel (start at the RR then LR (i know its a cross system but those rules dont apply here) and simply open the bleeder and wiggle the brake lines while watching for air, let about 4 oz out of each one) you either have a little air trapped high in a line or in the master cylinder. if that doesnt work then next step is to iscolate each wheel and figure out if its in the lines or the MC

I would also recommend lightly tapping both sides of the calipers with a rubber hammer to try to get any air out while bleeding.
